I live
I live in the transitions,
the time between then
and now,
the twilight and the dawn,
the rustling of leaves as
night begins,
the first breeze of day,
the moment of departure,
the time of arrival.
Once something has happened,
day has come, night is here,
you have come, you have gone,
fait accompli leaves me cold,
nothing to do, simply there,
but expectations and
transitions,
my blood pumps with
excitement,
my brain expands to take in
everything and I understand
those, who in their desperation
to feel life, provoke it.
